Date Posted: October 21, 2011

Because of the problems being encountered by the motorist during heavy rains, which results to flooding, heavy traffic and lack of traffic enforcers, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will now install Electronic Billboards this coming November on selected footbridge that will be used to display information with regards to the areas which is already flooded and not passable. Based on their plan, those on the priority list are those that are included on the flood prone areas including EDSA. According to MMDA the Size of the Billboard has a length of 8 meters and height of 1.5 meters, if there’s no rain traffic advisory and alternate routes will be the one to be displayed on the billboard for information of the motorist.
