Manila, Philippines – Globaltronics, together with The Performing Arts and Recreation Center (PARC) Foundation, invites everyone to watch “Spirit of Giving 2020,” a charity online concert for the benefit of calamity victims and of PARCaralan scholars, happening on December 19, 2020 (Saturday), 3:00 PM PHT (GMT +8) at DigiPARC.

The challenges brought upon by a series of unfortunate events, COVID-19 pandemic and successive supertyphoons and floodings, moved Globaltronics and The PARC Foundation to strengthen their partnership in order to make a big difference in the lives of others.

“Spirit of Giving 2020” will feature splendid musical performances from PARCaralan Scholars and many surprise guests.

This charity online concert aims to raise funds to help in the rebuilding efforts of our brothers and sisters in calamity-stricken Cagayan Valley, Marikina, Rizal, and Bicol and to help our PARCaralan scholars in the pursuit of their artistic passion and in the fulfillment of their dreams.

In its second year, “Spirit of Giving” is a celebration of Christmas featuring amazing and heartwarming performances from homegrown Filipino artists.

This year, due to COVID-19, “Spirit of Giving 2020” will be different from the 2019 version. It will be streamed live through YouTube and FB Live from Digital Events Place @ The PARC or DigiPARC, the country’s first “Truly Digital Events Place”.

DigiPARC came about after the premises of The PARC Foundation had to be closed temporarily starting March 2020 to comply with the guidelines of the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force for Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases. Globaltronics, the country’s leading digital innovator, transformed several spaces at the PARC into state-of-the-art digital studios equipped with high definition LED billboards, Philips commercial displays, digital iPosters, and top-of-the-line audio-visual and lighting equipment.

DigiPARC has become an ideal venue for online events. It now helps artists, showbiz people, entrepreneurs, businesses, and individuals who want to remain productive and relevant under the new normal.

About The PARC Foundation

The Performing Arts and Recreation Center (PARC) Foundation is a private, non-stock, non-profit organization established in December 2015. It was founded by the late Wilmer Guido, a passionate 25-year old visionary whose dream was to put up a performing arts center to help people, especially the underprivileged youth and struggling local artists, pursue their artistic passion and fulfill their dreams.

PARC’s mission is to create a sustainable ecosystem for the performing arts, with PARC functioning as an open hub where artists can congregate, hone their skills, and equip themselves to become relevant contributors to society.

And true to its vision, PARC is spearheading the development of the performing arts in the country by enabling young Filipino artists to succeed.
