Manila, Philippines – Globaltronics, one of the leaders in digital innovation, strengthens its partnership with The Performing Arts Recreation Center (PARC) Foundation by transforming several of the latter’s spaces into the first “Truly Digital Events Place” in the country.

Globaltronics and The PARC Foundation are members of the Guido Group of Companies (GGC).

To be launched on October 29, 2020, the “Digital Events Place @ The PARC” will be a one-stop digital events place featuring various state-of-the-art digital LED screens and iPosters. It will help businesses and individuals become productive and relevant during the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be a safe and joyful place for entrepreneurs and companies, big or small, struggling to promote their businesses. It will also provide the community and the neighboring area a venue to showcase their events digitally in these trying times.

Supposedly the first of its kind in the country, the “Digital Events Place @ The PARC” will help the arts and culture industry cope with the new normal

For the past 18 years, Globaltronics has been the leading channel for enlightening people’s lives through digital solutions. One of Southeast Asia’s leading full-service digital out-of-home (DOOH) and place-based media companies, it has installed massive LED billboards that are iconic landmarks in EDSA, Makati, Ortigas Avenue, C-5, and Macapagal Aseana City. It has also gone to other parts of the country to erect some more digital monuments. It has installations in Cavite, Cebu, Davao, and Mindoro, to name a few.

The PARC Foundation is a private non-stock, non-profit organization committed to harnessing the power of the performing arts to transform lives. It was founded by the late Wilmer Guido whose dream was to put up a performing arts center to help people, especially the underprivileged youth and struggling local artists, pursue their artistic passion and fulfill their dreams.

Since 2015, Globaltronics has been fully supporting PARC in fulfilling the dreams of the underprivileged youth by providing educational assistance and free performing arts training through its flagship program “PARCaralan.”

Unfortunately, COVID-19 happened. Things changed in an instant. The PARC Foundation had to close down its premises temporarily until such time that it is safe for its young artists to go back there physically.

The COVID-19 crisis made GGC, particularly Globaltronics and The PARC Foundation, think of how they can best utilize digital technology, their creative talents, and their physical assets to help businesses and individuals become more productive and relevant during these pandemic times.

They developed a whole new idea that will serve the events requirements of businesses, entrepreneurs, and even families and individuals, while observing the mandated basic health and safety protocols. As we all know, physical events places have been closed due to COVID-19.

With this turn of events, the concept of the “Digital Events Place @ The PARC” was born. It will be launched online via ZOOM on October 29, 2020.
